At the complete of this acitivity, the participant will be able to:
- List and describe the FDA approved and off-label uses of anticoagulants;
- List the benefits of genetic testing for warfarin dosing;
- Describe transition plans for patients switching between warfarin and DOACs;
- Relate the use of an implantable device for anticoagulation and create
an appropriate post-surgical anticoagulation therapy plan;
- List treatment plans for patients with hypercoagulable states.
